Policy on APSOU Contributions

APSOU will only consider financial contributions to causes that directly affect our ability to administer and defend our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Dues from memberships are dedicated 100% to support the costs of negotiating and upholding the CBA. Examples of legitimate support include: 1) ballot initiatives that are deemed to have a negative impact on SOU faculty salary or working conditions, 2) legal actions necessary to challenge the interpretation of or defend the agreed-upon articles of the CBA. Requests for financial support should be brought to the APSOU Executive Board.
